The name Savant has proved a highly appropriate moniker for Norwegian producer Aleksander Vinto, who has managed a highly prodigious output since he started making music in 2009. In 2014 SectionZ issued Savant’s 11th studio album “Protos” that was marked more by the influences of space rock than EDM and topped the Bandcamp Electronica and Overall Charts. The full-length “Zion” followed peaking at No. 19 on the Billboard Dance Chart, and No. 24 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Savant issued his 13th studio album in six years, “Invasion”, in 2015, which marked his most bubbly to date, and led esteemed producer deadmau5 to refer to Savant as “the change that electronic music needs”.
